Public Impact &
Transparency Report.

Kazi Konnect publishes its employment, training, and community outcomes every month — openly, without spin. Not because we have to. Because accountability is how trust is built.

Our Transparency Commitment

We update this page monthly within 10 business days of each month-end. All figures are based on verified payroll, timesheets, employer confirmations, or participant engagement records. No personal information is ever published.

Our Measurement Framework

Five Domains We
Track Without Exception.

Five domains. Measured without exception. This is the framework every figure on this page is built on.

J
Justice

Re-contact with the system, order compliance, breaches avoided, parole adherence.

Employment is the single strongest predictor of not reoffending.
E
Employment

Placement rate, time-to-placement, attendance, weeks retained, verified earnings.

The headline metric. Real jobs, real pay, real records.
S
Skills

White Cards, safety tickets, training completions, apprenticeships, micro-credentials.

Credentials unlock better roles and higher wages over time.
W
Wellbeing

Housing stability, health engagement, mentor contact frequency, family connection.

Unstable lives make stable work impossible. We track both.
D
Delivery

Employer satisfaction, role fill rates, no-show reduction, cost per placement.

If our service delivery slips, everything else slips with it.
Why we publish this publicly

Most employment programs only report outcomes at the end of a funded project — often years after the work is done. We publish monthly. That means funders, government, unions, employers, and the community can see whether we are delivering, in real time, every single month. We hold ourselves to that standard because we believe the people we serve deserve nothing less.

The Ripple Effect

Every Number in That Dashboard
Is a Person. Here Is What It Means.

Behind every placement recorded is a real outcome — for the individual placed, for the employer who took the chance, and for the Victorian community that funds and depends on services like ours.

For the Worker

  • Stable, legal income and financial independence
  • Professional references and formal work history
  • Skills development and on-the-job training
  • Significantly reduced reoffending risk
  • Housing stability supported by reliable income
  • Pro-social identity and community belonging
  • Clear pathway to direct employment

For the Employer

  • Reliable, work-ready, inducted labour supply
  • Full payroll, super, and WorkCover managed
  • Reduced hiring friction and onboarding cost
  • Mentor-supported placements with lower drop-out
  • ESG, social procurement & RAP credentials
  • Access to motivated, untapped labour pools
  • Long-term sustainable workforce pipeline

For Victoria

  • Reduced youth reoffending rates statewide
  • Lower community cost of incarceration
  • Broader economic participation from marginalised groups
  • Safer communities and neighbourhoods
  • Reduced welfare dependency and social spending
  • Multicultural workforce integration at scale
  • Policy-grade evidence base for social enterprise models
The Cost Case for Victoria

Why This Investment
Matters to the Public Purse.

Transparency is not just about outcomes. It is about costs. Every funder and decision-maker deserves to see the financial argument plainly — and hold us to it.

Youth Detention — Victoria
$2.6M+
per young person, per year
That is over $7,100 every single day — the highest youth detention cost of any Australian jurisdiction.
Productivity Commission — Report on Government Services 2026

Victoria spends more than any other state to detain a young person — and around 85 per cent of children released from detention return to supervision within twelve months.

The issue is not lack of government investment. It is the absence of something more fundamental — a real job. Employment brings income, routine, identity, and belonging. It is the most effective tool we have for breaking the cycle.

Kazi Konnect exists to make that happen — compliantly, commercially, and at scale. We do not ask the state to fund us. We ask employers to hire our cohort, and we make it easy and worthwhile for them to do so.

Our Commitment

Accountability Is Not
a Side Project.

This page will be wrong sometimes. Numbers will start at zero and grow slowly. Some targets will take longer than planned. We will publish that — openly, every month — because transparency that only shows good results is not transparency.

If you want to hold us to that commitment, the best way to do it is to stay connected. Request our monthly impact summary, partner with us, or simply check back here.

Data Integrity Statement

All figures on this page are updated monthly. Placement data is verified against employer timesheets and payroll records before publication. Where figures are estimates or targets, this is explicitly stated. We do not round up. We do not smooth out bad months. If you believe any figure is incorrect, contact us directly.
