Site Labourer – General Construction
We place workers into general labouring roles across construction and civil works sites on an ongoing basis. Tasks include site clean-up, material handling, assisting tradespeople, and general site maintenance. Register your interest and we will contact you when a suitable placement is available.

Warehouse Picker/Packer & Stores Assistant
Warehouse and distribution centre roles across Melbourne logistics hubs are a core part of our placement activity. Register your interest and we will match you as warehouse roles arise. Opportunity to progress to forklift operator roles with funded licensing.
- Attention to detail and basic numeracy

Commercial & Industrial Cleaner

Site Logistics & Material Handler

Youth Justice Employment Pathway
For young people aged 17–25 with justice system involvement, referred through Parkville College, Jesuit Social Services, or a justice caseworker. This is an ongoing supported employment pathway — placements are made on a rolling basis as opportunities arise, with dedicated mentors and wraparound services from day one.

Independent Board Director
Kazi Konnect is building a skills-diverse governance board to oversee our growth as a licensed social enterprise. We are seeking independent directors who bring expertise in corporate governance, legal, finance, HR, or community services. Board meetings are held quarterly with additional committee participation as required.
- Background in governance, law, finance, HR, or community services
- Commitment to attend quarterly board meetings (hybrid)

- Prior board or committee experience preferred

Community Mentor — Lived Experience
Our mentors are the backbone of our model. We are looking for people with lived experience of the justice system, migration, or long-term unemployment who want to walk alongside our workers — helping them navigate the workplace, stay on track, and build confidence. Mentors meet with placed workers weekly and coordinate with our operations team.
- Lived experience of justice system involvement, migration, or unemployment (strongly preferred)
- Empathetic, non-judgmental, and reliable
- Ability to meet with workers weekly (in-person or phone)
- Cleared (or willing to undertake) Working With Children Check
- Alignment with Kazi Konnect values — dignity, opportunity, accountability
- Meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationships

Kazi Konnect is actively seeking skilled volunteers to join our governance board and mentoring program. You do not need to be in the labour hire industry — we need people who care about employment equity and bring skills in law, finance, governance, or lived community experience.
