Who Can Apply?

You don't need a long work history or a spotless record. You need to be ready to work and willing to commit. We'll handle the rest.

Youth Justice Pathways

Young people aged 17–25 with justice involvement. We work with referral organisations and caseworkers to support your transition into stable, paid employment.

New Migrants & Refugees

Recently arrived in Victoria? We help you access your first Australian job with culturally sensitive support, rights information, and full backup from our team.

African-Background Youth

We have deep community roots and connect you with employers who value your potential, your energy, and your commitment — not your background.

Housing Instability

If housing is uncertain, a job can be the foundation for everything else. We work with housing and support partners to address your whole situation.

Long-Term Unemployed

Been out of work for a while? We specialise in getting people back into work with the structured support to make the placement last long-term.

No Formal Qualifications

Many of our roles require no formal qualifications — just a can-do attitude, physical ability, and commitment to showing up every day.

Common Questions

Workers — Quick Answers

No. We place people with zero formal experience into entry-level roles across all 10 sectors. We arrange any required licences and inductions for you — at our cost.

Absolutely zero. Registration, inductions, licence applications, and mentor support are all provided by Kazi Konnect at no charge. You should never pay to get work through us.

Many of our participants come from youth justice backgrounds. We work with you honestly — certain roles have restrictions, but we'll always find a legal pathway forward. We don't dismiss applications based on history alone.

Your mentor is a named person who checks in by phone or in person within 48 hours of your first shift. They help with transport issues, workplace problems, access to housing support, and more. They stay engaged for the full 12-week placement.

By Kazi Konnect. We are your employer of record — we handle wages, super, WorkCover, and payroll. You work on the host employer's site, but your legal protections come through us.

Traffic control, site labouring, warehousing & logistics, commercial cleaning, government infrastructure, healthcare (PSA), manufacturing, trades & apprenticeships, hospitality/food services, and parks & environment. Across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
