We Do Employment.
You Do What You Do Best.
Kazi Konnect focuses entirely on one thing: getting people into real, paid, protected work. Our partners are the ecosystem around that — delivering the support, advocacy, opportunity, and community connection that no single organisation can provide alone.
One Focus.
Many Strengths.
We made a deliberate choice: Kazi Konnect does employment. That is it. We do not try to deliver housing support, legal aid, mental health services, or trauma counselling. We do not duplicate what community organisations already do — and do well.
Instead, we refer. When one of our workers needs something we cannot provide, we connect them to a partner who can. And our partners refer their clients to us when employment is the missing piece. That two-way flow is what makes the model work.
Whether you are a mainstream services organisation or a grassroots community group — if you work with people who are ready for employment, or who need employment as part of their recovery, growth, or settlement — we want to work with you.
Two-Way Referrals
Partners refer clients to us for employment. We refer workers back to partners for housing, AOD, mental health, legal, and family support. No one falls through the gap.
Complementary, Not Competing
We are not a social service organisation. We are a licensed labour hire business with a social mission. We do employment so our partners can do what they do best.
Formal Agreements
Partnerships are structured through referral agreements and MOUs — not informal arrangements. Both parties know their role and what success looks like.
The Organisations
That Make It Possible.
Our community partners are the referral pipeline, the trust-builders, and the wraparound support system. They reach people we cannot reach alone — and they do it with depth and cultural credibility we deeply respect.
South Sudanese-Australian Academic Society Inc
Principal Partner · Academic & Community Advancement
SSAAS is Kazi Konnect's founding academic principal — bridging community knowledge, academic rigour, and employment practice. Their deep trust within the South Sudanese-Australian community creates a referral pipeline that formal employment services cannot replicate.
Jamma
Principal Partner · Youth, Family & Community
Jamma supports young South Sudanese people and their families across Dandenong, Casey, Cardinia, Melton, and Brimbank. Their deep community trust reaches young people who would never engage with formal employment services alone. Their referral pipeline into Kazi Konnect is irreplaceable.
Referral partner for youth justice exits. JSS works with young people at every stage of the justice system — we receive their clients when they are employment-ready.
Young people disengaged from mainstream schooling. MacKillop's education model and our employment pathway are a natural progression for the same cohort.
Settlement services and multicultural engagement. AMF connects us to newly arrived communities where employment is the critical next step after initial settlement support.
The education provider inside Victoria's youth justice centres. When young people are preparing for release, we are part of the transition planning.
Community-based sport and mentoring that builds the confidence and resilience our cohort needs before and during employment placements.
Mainstream or Grassroots — We Want to Work With You
Whether you are a large-scale social services provider or a small community-run organisation, if you work with people who need employment — we want a conversation. No organisation is too small, no referral too informal to start.
The Unions & Bodies
That Keep Standards High.
Our industry partners ensure every worker we place is protected, informed, and working within the full framework of Australian labour law. Non-negotiable for us.
AWU Victoria Branch
Principal Partner · Australian Workers Union · Award Compliance & Worker Rights
The AWU Victoria Branch ensures every placement meets union standards and award conditions from day one. For a young person stepping into their first paid role — particularly one coming out of the justice system — having union backing means they are protected, know their rights, and have a delegate on-site who will act when something goes wrong. This is foundational to how we operate.
HavenBridge Developments
Principal Partner · Construction & Social Procurement
HavenBridge Developments is a Victorian construction and development company with a deep social procurement commitment and an active host employer agreement with Kazi Konnect. They provide real construction-sector placements — creating a direct, practical bridge from community into paid, stable employment.
Serious About Diversifying
Your Workforce?
The employers who partner with Kazi Konnect are not just filling roles. They are making a deliberate choice to build a workforce that reflects their community — and they are seeing the business case for it.
Nothing gives a person meaning like a job.
Our cohort — young people who have experienced the justice system, newly arrived migrants, long-term unemployed CALD community members — are not a charity case. They are people with energy, loyalty, and a burning need to prove themselves.
There is no job too small for the people we work with. Traffic control, labouring, warehousing, cleaning, logistics — these are not stepping-stone jobs. For many of our workers, this is the most significant opportunity of their lives. They show up for it.
We handle everything. Kazi Konnect is the employer of record — payroll, WorkCover, super, Fair Work compliance, and a mentor on-site. You get a work-ready, inducted, motivated worker. We carry the employment obligations.
"There is never a job too small for the people we work with. Every role matters. Every start matters. If you have work, we have people who will give everything to it."

Diversify your workforce.
Be a force for good.
Get in touch today. Tell us what roles you have, what your site looks like, and what you are trying to achieve. We will match you with workers who are ready to go — and we handle everything else.
